Quick Tip!
Change Smoke Alarm Batteries Every 6 Months:Batteries in Smoke Alarms and Carbon Monoxide (C.O.) detectors should be changed every 6 months. It good rule-of-thumb to change them at them same time as we change our clocks. Functional smokes alarms save lives! So if you have forgotten to change the batteries PLEASE do it right now!
Welcome to “Love Your Home”
I want to focus this month on the important system that covers your head, that’s right YOUR ROOF! The roof is a vital part of any home but unfortunately it often gets forgotten and neglected. Every roof covering has a life span, at which point you will need to repair or replace it.
Sincerely, Glenn

Roof Covering Life Spans:
Different roof coverings each have varying service lives. The typical material service life is as follows:
Asphalt / Fiberglass Shingles– 20years
Cedar Shakes /Shingles– 20years
Low-slope or Flat roofs, with a ‘torch-on’ membrane – 20years
Tar & Gravel System– 20years
Clay / Concrete Tiles– up to 50years
Recently, we were called-out to document a client’s serious concerns about a local high-rise condo building. The entire plumbing supply system needed replacing in this 20-plus year-old building, as it was worn-out…
Don’t assume that the condition your home was in last fall will be exactly the same in the spring. A barrage of rain, wind, ice, hail and snow can wreak havoc on a home, and especially on its roofing materials. So it is highly recommended to get an annual inspection to ensure that winter has not left you with any nasty surprises. Our services include a comprehensive Spring Condition Check, inspecting your entire roof for storm damage and leaks, including roof shingles, flashings, eaves troughs and gutters.
We offer detailed inspection reports and provide you with peace of mind!
